Ladies, you do not want to miss this event!
Women on the Rise’s ‘Educated and Broke’ series is a financial empowerment series to educate more women on how to develop tactical strategies to earn more money, know their worth, budget, save, pay off debt, invest, start a business and provide a legacy for their families. This series seeks to provide women with the resources and knowledge toolkit to better themselves in their careers as well as entrepreneurial efforts. Through seminars in financial empowerment, Educated and Broke equips women with the tools to contribute to the closing of the gender pay gap. The program is aimed at women mid-career who hold a college degree and seek the educational, personal, and professional development to progress their career and better their financial literacy.
The Educated and Broke series focuses on programming to nurture skills in salary negotiation, career planning, budgeting, saving, investing, and entrepreneurship. The series uses workbooks, education, and testimonials from women in the workforce to help empower participants to practice self-advocacy. With the opportunity to expand our reach through virtual platforms, Women On The Rise has the means to make this seminar accessible to women in Central Florida and beyond who seek financial education to better their careers and ventures.
